My A35 Braking Unexpectedly While Turning
Greetings All,
First of all, I would like to express my appreciation to the owner of this forum for bringing all of us together and creating this community.
I am experiencing a problem with my car while driving. When I turn onto certain roads, at specific angles of the steering wheel, the car brakes and stops completely on its own. Additionally, the traction control lamp turns on but goes off once I straighten the steering wheel.
This issue started after I took my A35 to the garage to fix a liquid leak from the steering gear. The garage replaced the steering gear with a used one that appeared to function well, and they also replaced all the lower arm bushings.
I brought the car back to the same garage, and they suggested the issue might be caused by the steering sensor. I purchased a new steering sensor, but after installation, the programming computer couldn’t read it using the OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) system.
Could this issue be caused by the steering sensor, or might there be another reason for this problem?
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
