Need Some Help with 2005 Maxima Transmission Issues
Hey
I have a 2005 Nissan Maxima with about 145,000 miles.., and recently;, I have been experiencing some transmission issues. The car has been shifting roughly, especially when accelerating from a complete stop. It feels like it's hesitating or stuttering during low-speed shifts, and sometimes, there's a noticeable lag before it accelerates smoothly.
I have tried the basics fluid checks and making sure everything's topped off but no luck. I have heard from a few people that this might be a common issue with the 5th-gen Maximas.., but I wanted to ask if anyone here has experienced something similar and how they addressed it. Did you have to replace the transmission or was it something simpler like a sensor or valve problem: ??
I am hoping to get some insights before I take it to a shop.., as I want to avoid any unnecessary repairs. I have also read this thread https://maxima.org/forums/6th-generation-maxima-2004-2008/675270-help-05-maxima-trans-shift-problems-ruby-on-rail.html it helped me alot but still looking some more help and tips.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance !!
With Regards,
Daniel Jose
