RE: CVT Class action Lawsuit
Thanks for sharing. As an owner of several Nissan & Infiniti vehicles, I am not surprised the about the class action lawsuit against Nissan Maxima’s CVT.
I had the experience of my 2013 Nissan Rogue CVT failing at 61,000 miles. I learned about class action lawsuit against Nissan with other models and other years.
While 84,000 mile extended CVT warranty is better for Maxima owners, gone are the days of the non-CVT models lasting 200,000+ miles.
It is actually very sad how Nissan as a company is run to the ground. It has never kept up to the other Japanese car manufacturers of Toyota & Honda. I also read that Nissan is almost bankrupt.
One thing for sure; my next car will never be a Nissan. I have owned 3 - 1996 Nissan Altima, 2003 Infiniti i35 and 2013 Nissan Rogue. But no more.
