No data connection ODB2 port
No data connection ODB2 port
Hello, I am having trouble getting any kind of diagnostic scanner to establish a connection with my car. I tried 2 scanners, one said no data connection and the other didn't pick up the vehicle. It seems that there sone kind of issue communicating. This is on a 2014 Maxima SV
Is there a fuse that supplies power to the OBD2 or other common issues that I can check for this?

Yes check your fuses, blown fuse can cause no OBDII connection. Fuse checks are the first place to start, some vehicles cigar lighter/12V AUX fuse is tied into the OBDII fuse and if you plug in something that draws too much juice and blow the fuse you use OBDII connection same time

Is there a specific fuse associated with the OBD2 port? I can't find anything on the underhood and interior fusebox showing so.
Looks like it's in the interior but has a cover over it
