New knock sensor harness arrived today, threw it in right away along with a new KS.

I can confirm that the harness only has one wire lead going into the KS connector.

No more KS code and the 03 Max is pulling very hard now!

 

Curse those sharp metal gaskets!

 

I put my right hand in the freezer, than I was able to get in and out with minimal scratchers

it was not that bad, it’s actually easier to change it on the 5.5gen than on the 4th and 5th gen
