Went down to Miami, Florida to visit family and did so on Thanksgiving Day! It was a breeze as traffic was just amazing and made it at a record three (3) hours and Twenty-Two (22) minutes to Miami, Florida from Orlando, Florida!
Just noticed my receipt from Costco Gasoline (Sweet Water Location) that in Miami, Florida they are enjoying some really cheap gasoline per gallon.
Take a look! $2.55 per gallon for regular unleaded.
Yes, that's 24-MPG mixed on Highway and the metro Miami area, perhaps 60% Highway and 40% heavy City metro traffic. Still not bad for raw power 3-Liter V-6, no Turbo.
On the way back to Central Florida, the 2000 Maxima GLE attained 26-MPG with heavier traffic!

Yeah, these cars are great on the highway. We went from NYC to Lancaster, PA for the long weekend and the Maxima is perfect for long trips. It has enough power that I don't even need to downshift to pass on the highway. Just keeping it in 6th gear and dip into the gas pedal.
