Dealer recommends replacing lower control arms - should I?

Had my car in for service yesterday and part of the Nissan report indicates that the lower control arm bushings are starting to split and they recommend replacement of them. As this stuff is way above my pay grade, I was hoping someone here could let me know if this is something I need to have done on my 2017 Maxima platinum with about 55,000 miles on it. I’ve attached the section of the report and the two pictures that were included in it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

So no one has any thoughts on this? All right, thanks anyway. Happy new year.

I'd keep an eye on them and not worry too much. I did mine as preventative maintenance, 10 years old and well over 100k miles. No shop ever said they needed to be replaced yet.

$1500+ is insane.

Unless the control is craked/broken don't worry about them. You have 55k. They are fine. They are trying to make a buck off of you.

Known issue with corrosion and poor quality parts when car was built. I would not wait and see!

You would replace them now? Dealers did not give me a quote. Any general ballpark for cost?

replaced mine about 3 months back due to torque steer. Ordered from eBay and aDIY and two or so hours later, surgery done
trickier on my ‘17; wasn’t bad on the’11.
parts ran me under $300 for both sides; always replaced in pairs.

Do the surgery now before you forget or far worse comes of that boot tear. At least for a pieces of mind; pay now or pay (more) later;

Thanks, guys. I'll find out what the cost would be as this is NOT something I can do myself.

Interestingly enough, I recently took my car for some diagnostic eval and I was told both the bushings on control arms are torn.

I'm curious to know what the overall costs are to have them replaced. I'm at 93k miles on my vehicle.

Has anyone bought the rear lower control arms? Mine sheered off today but I can’t find them anywhere except directly from Nissan. All the other part sites only have the lateral arms or the frontward arm for the rear

purchased both from eBay for about $200 then DIY at 3 hours surgery.

10 years warranty

correction: my surgery was on the front LCA
