Was at the Nissan dealership and found out how stupid they really are

Ok about 3 months ago the nissan dealership in my town was bought out by another local dealer, anyway its a bad deal. I now take my car to a non nissan dealership for work. Anyways I was going to order a part through that tustin nissan guy on the forum here but thought i would call the local shop first and see if they could get it and the price try to stay local right well they told me the part didnt exist. (part was the cover for rear deck that fits in the hole where the 3rd brake light is/was) Ok anyway so today im cruising through their lot and they have a used 2001 on the lot. I go up to it and to my surprise the drivers door is unlocked so i get in and check it out, then i open the middle counsel and d*mn there are two keys for the car in there. How dumb are the people working here? I feel like i should call them on monday and be like hey if you give me a decent discount on some parts ill tell you how to keep your cars from being stolen. anyway just had to tell someone this.

I know a dealership who leaves every car unlocked all the time--Volvos, Lincolns, Nissans. It allows people to look at the cars on their own when the dealer is closed. Would they do it if it ended up in stolen vehicles and no increase in sales? So they leave a key in the car. I wouldn't drive off with it, would you? For 20k who's willing to do time like that, nobody I know.

You should have moved all the cars around the lot and freaked them out.

Haha, just kinda move them to the back of the building or across the street and let them think they are missing
