looking for horsepower

looking for horsepower

I have a '90 Max Se with a 5spd tranny, car is completely stock (no mods) looking for some cheap horsepower, any suggestions on what to do?

intake, if you look for cheap i would just go with a normal intake filter, if you wanna spend some more money, go for the cai, well worth it.

i went looking for horsepower too, i couldnt find it so i just gave up

I don't know about hp, but...

...take a look at your plugs (I suggest the NGK V-Power plugs - nice!!) and a timing advance (18-20 degrees). Go with the CAI intake if you can afford it, or else try a cone intake with a MAF adapter (not necessarily a JWT Popcharger, you can get away cheaper than that!) Everything after that is gonna cost ya some serious bread, though, so be prepared and use the 'search' feature!
