Nitto's suck! NT555's are the worst performance tire! Get Toyo T1-S's. They are at the other end of the spectrum. This is just from my personal experience driving on both.

My Nitto NT450s didn't hold up long. Nittos are known for their sidewall cracking. Although they did ok I don't recommend them.

if i remember right

nitto's and toyo's are made on the same line. I have had the nt450's and the traction wasnt that great( i was sliding everywhere)...oddly enough, the best handling tire i;ve had on my car was the oem toyo's

I have Nitto 555 and when i got them i lost my license so i really can not tell you how good they are. I asked my dad, because he is driveing my car, and he said they handle very well. My moms max has Toyo's on it and i like the way it handles.

Toyo T1S is much better in wet than Nitto NT-555. In dry condition, they are about the same. NT-555 will wear much better than T1S. You probably could get 40K-50K miles out of NT-555. You can only get about 25K out of T1S.

BFG makes about 8000 different tires. What one are you thinking about? Overall BFG makes good tires though.
