both headlamps went out last night......

I've got Piaa Xtreme H4's and last night I noticed that both headlamps were out. Now it can't be that both bulbs burned out simultaneously so I was wondering what else it oculd possible be?

any ideas guys?

Check the fuses. Also see if your Highbeams work. If not, Fuse problems.

Either bulbs, fuse, or lamp control module.

Check the plug for the headlight bulbs. Had one corrode (the black boot magically disappears)and blew out both low beams.

Also check your tail lights, saftey feature if a tail light is out that the headlights don't work (I dunno, I don't make up these "saftey" features)

I had one tail light out in my '00 and my headlights still worked.

I checked everything..........it's not the bulbs and it's not the fuse.
It looks like it mught be some internal wiring or possibly switch problems.

F*cking wierd sh*t.........someone told me that Nissan's electronics
are not as good or reliable as Toyota's or Honda's.

I was just wondering how long you had the bulbs in before they both went out on you? I just order my PIAA H4's and i'm hoping that I don't have the problems that you're having.

What wattage were you using? If it was higher than stock, maybe something was fried? If you can't figure it out, I'd say put the old bulbs in, and take it to the dealership. It might be covered under warrenty.
