i got bad start by a little so from the start he was like... 1 feet infront of me.
I couldn't walk him... it was the same all the way and at the end i started pulling but the race was over...
I noticed that my car just suddenly slowed down.. I think the gas was cut off or soemthing...
what the hell happen?

 

How fast did you guys get up to? Year of cars? Transmissions? Other people in car?

Sexima-you hit your rev-limiter, I didn't think that GLE's have Speed limiters other than terminal velocity. You also may have had a close to empty tank. I've been running before and when I get really low on gas it would have periodic losses of power.

I was racing ebmorgan's I30 not too long ago and got the exact same thing.

At the time, my tank was close to empty, but the low fuel light wasn't on yet.

It concerned me, so we looked under the hood and everything was OK.

I then put gas in it, and we raced seome more...never had the problem again.

If he was in limp mode, He would've known it. Maybe throttle body, fuel filter, fuel pump, low grade octane, thousands of different possibilites.
