Dynoed my car today!!

I went to the shop today to dyno my max and got 245 FWHP and 238 lb-ft FWTorque. I was slightly disappointed since those were about the same numbers I had (torque is about 20 lb-ft better) prior to adding the Cattman SS y-pipe and the Protorque T.C. I ordered the Greddy EVO catback system today and my shop is going to install it this coming week sometime so we will be dynoing the car again next weekend. When I get the print outs I'll scan them and post the results. My shop is selling me the Greddy EVO catback system for $550 INSTALLED. That sounds like a pretty good price to me but what do yall think. I'm interested to see what type of FWHP and torque improvements I'll see on the dyno after the install of the Greddy catback. What have yall typically gotten? My shop manager expects about an increase of 14 FWHP but I'm a little skeptical.

I'm running the stock pulley (6-6.5 PSI) but I do have the torque converter. Don't know if that had anything to do with the results because I too was surprised. Maybe that max torque was where the graph peaked during shifts, I can't remember for sure and I don't have a print out of the dyno yet. I'll double check that next week when I get the print out and I'll scan it for yall to look at.

I'll be curious to see what mine puts down with stock boost now that the tranny is done being rebuilt. There gonna do a dyno on it like that and then after the 10psi and intercooler and some other stuff Should be kewl.

Sounds good, but I also would have expected a change from the y-pipe in the mid range check if the curve changed any when you take a look at the plots.

A stock 6spd puts down 220-225 FWTQ. About 280 at the crank.

Good numbers Diederik! I dynoed this weekend and put down 246 hp on 6 psi, which is basically what you're putting down (belt slipped off during a run... I'll post something about this later on).

Hey Kevin How you like your Greddy EVO?

How does your Greddy EVO sound with your y-pipe and RT cat? From the sound bite is sounds very nice. What's it like while you are cruising around? I'm getting mine installed this weekend. I just hope it isn't to loud for my taste. My car has almost no exhaust note now and I really want a deep sounding exhaust note. What are comments you've gotten from other people about your exhaust setup? Thanks.

The exhaust note isn't as loud or low as the 4th gen GReddy SP. Cruising with your foot lightly on the pedal will give you a light grumble, but if you put your foot on the gas at about 2100, you might go crazy. If it gets too loud, you can cut out the GReddy resonator on the b pipe and weld on a larger one.

Nothing but nice comments about the exhaust.

Hope you enjoy it. Vrroooommmmm psssshhhhhhh vrrrooooommmmmmm psssshhhh
