i like those better than altezza's.. they look good in my book...

 

i've seen good prices on altezza's and they aren't that bad of a price but i'm just worried they would look ugly on my car...made more for sporty black or dark colored or real bright (white) colored cars...not champagne...i think...if anyone has a champagne car like mine wit them, let me see a pic...or if any of u think they would look hot on campagne/beige, then let me know

 

No ... Altezzas do not look good on a beige car.

And besides... Maxima Altezzas are illegal. Wouldn't want one of us to tell you they look good, you go buy them and then get a ticket and come back and b|tch at us.

 

IMO, you should skip aftermarket tails and save your pennies for a new set of wheels.

Back to the subject at hand though, I know the guy who owns the car. And he doesn't have the vinyl over the tails anymore. So your point is now moot.

Jim, I already have chrome rims..that's a real old pic, like the first year i had my car...i'm sitting on 18" chrome vaults...paid 1950 for 'em w/ tires, a hell of a lot after seeing them for 1500 on the net (w/o tires) but they told me i was getting a good deal and i probably did but i learn from past mistakes...heres a pic of my bad boys...clown me like i stay rocking the stock rims...i have 'em on now cause i don't want the snow or salt to mess up my rims although this winter has been real weak...

Nope ... those are just regular taillights with vinyl on them. Check my link. He took the vinyl off already.

SyCefiro did an Cefiro conversion with 2K I30 tails I think.

 

Yeah i know they are just vinyled but i thought they were ment to look like 300zx or somthing. Didnt SyCefiro (Thanks for the spelling, btw ) do somthing similar with his 4th gen then?

Altezzas made for the Maxima lack a corner reflector that is required by most (all?) state's motor vehicle code. Cops just won't usually stop you for it unless you have the wrong color bulbs or something.

and about the sidemarker thing...
I had my custom altezzas.. look in sig, i covered up the sidemarker thing...or side reflecter whatever you want to call it.
Cops were right behind me like.. 5 times? they didn't pull me over...
you guys won't really get caught for altezzas... and it's Police heaven over here in northern VA.

I like altezzas on Maximas... they look better than Civic ones...

I had every light on the front of my car, as well as my license plate lights blue for almost three months. And I mean really blue, not just tinted. Looked friggin tight imo. Must have passed like fifty cops and they didn't seem to care. But eventually, they got me. It seems there is always that one cop who won't look the other way.

I have found that the most dangerous time and place to be driving with naughty lights is late in the evening in town. The traffic has died down, but most of the cops haven't gone home yet, so they're driving around with not much to do. Even a lot of the ones that are usually cool will get so bored that they'll jump on any nitpicky little thing they see.

I'm not saying get rid of the tails, they look tight. Just don't be overly shocked when you get busted, because it will happen.
