'96 Badge?
'96 Badge?
I just bought a used '96 Max. But no one can tell me what trim level the car is (GXE, etc). Any ideas on what I can look for to help me find out? I even ran a CARFAX with the VIN number and got no useful results.
Alonng these lines... the car came with two non-factory keys. So I'm clueless as to wether or not the car has keyless entry installed on it or not. Any ideas on how I could check? If it does have it, how much do the key-fob remotes cost?
Thanks all
Mike

Raise your hood. Look for a shiny metal identification tag fastened to the passenger side of firewall. The top row is the Vehicle Identification Number, starting with J. The second row is model information. The first five characters are BLHUL. The sixth character is the trim level designator, defined as follows:
E = GXE
G = GLE
V = SE
E = GXE
G = GLE
V = SE
