I "******" my bulbs.
Got some PIAA 1157's (super white, 27x8) or if you prefer stock.
Using a pair if sharp dykes, nail clippers etc....cut the upper
**** of the bulb. Reinstall reversed, the bulb now glows with
27w as opposed to 8w. Heat has not been an issue.
