Tell me I'm not crazy?

I heard a news story that there is a company that makes a cellaphane-like kit you can buy to cover your hood, bumper, etc. It alleviates the need for a bra-which is devastating to paint in the rainy Pacific Northwest. Please tell me one of you has seen this?

Looks like they don't have it for 3rd gen Maximas yet. But they do have a form you can fill out to request that they work on a kit for any given car. So everyone: go and request a kit for 3rd gens.

This guy told me when I had my kit re-painted that a place here in Columbia, SC called Auto Trim Design has something of the same thing. He described it as being "..something like a clear scotch tape protectant for the car." Unfortunately, I never made it over there before the max started getting all chipped up. But next time I get it painted, I will get it at least for the kit. Just because xpel doesn't have it keep checking around. Check your local body shops, they might have something.
