Can I just thow my Nissan Floor Mats in the Washer and Dryer?

They are really dirty and I want to clean my max nice when I get it back in a hour. So I figure I would drive to the laundry mat throw them in the wash with detergent then warm air dry them in the dryer. Can I do this?

I wouldn't throw them in the dryer if I were you.

usually what I do with 'em is take them tot he car wash and power wash the bejeezus out of them. usually does a better job than the washing machine too.

then use the shop vac to suck most of the water out and hang to dry after that.

I threw mine in the washer and dryer and it didn't remove any dirt.
You're better off washing it with a stiff brush and a good cleaner.

the most effective way is to get a can of carpet cleaner from the auto parts store, scrub them, and hose them until you see clear water coming out.

um...yeah been there done that, Im looking for the easiest route possible, I do NOT want to increase my heart rate, nor do I want to break a sweat...I shall stick all four in the dishwasher! Then I was thinkin I might zap them in my microwave...wait, if I used the oven, I could prolly put all four in at the same time, YES!!!!

Umm, no... The dishwasher is for poaching salmon and the microwave is for warming up steel wool.

I say hang them up somehow, spray carpet cleaner on them, and hose them down into the stone-age.
Drying is another issue though...
