its not a pain at all. it took my like 1 minute to do. its just common sense, the bulb must obviously be directly under the nubers. just unscrew the plate from the plate and look under it. the light should twist and pop out.

lift the cover plate around the shifter. what's left is the indicator. there are 4 screws holding that piece down. undo the 4 screws and the assembly lifts out. right behind the indicator area there should be a 194 bulb sticking out...w/ a blue cover over it. pull it out and swap in new.

colored bulbs never work for me

does anyone know of a good brand to buy. i replaced all my interior bulbs (i mean ALL) with blue. shortly after, probably a day, they didnt light up blue anymore. my shifter lights up red??? the guage cluster back to green instead of this cool turquise color it was, and the other stuff is just like a tint of blue maybe in it. whats up with that?
