i just proved my mods are worth the money....
my friend and i both have 2k1 auto se maxima's . his is all stock and mine has mods . both cars have 17 inch wheels.we raced from a red light and when i hit 75-80 i had 3to4 car lengths on him . then i followed him around an off ramp on to a major highway and he had a 4-5 car lead but, i caught up and passed him really quick and hit 130 about 5 cars lengths ahead of him. tell me these minor mods aren't worth the 580 dollars i spent. bought parts barely used.

Unless you have a y-pipe or more, there isn't much of a difference.. Also, the gains wont me much even with a y-pipe until after 70mph or so..

I think it would be equally as critical for the two of you to swap cars. Driving style will have a big impact on how your times compare. And of course a few laps aren't really sufficient to get establish a pattern.
