Got new Firestone Firehawk SH30s
Got new Firestone Firehawk SH30s
And I like them very much. Nice grip, very little noise, relatively good-looking tire. Not as slick as the Dunlop SP5000s they replaced, but hopefully they'll be much more durable. The Dunlops lasted about 25k plus about 5k of ill-advised near-bald driving. Hopefully the SH30s will double that.
I have 225/55 16s on the original SE rims, and it may be my imagination, but they look like they stick out past the rim a bit more than the SP5000s. My eyes are probably perceiving differences that don't exist.
I'll post when I drive them in the wet (they're supposed to be great) and when I get them in the snow.
