I was lined up at a stoplight with this Z3, saw the 2.8 badge, figured it’d be a pretty good run. It was. We both launched kind of slow to see what the other was doing, punched it from about 10 MPH. He was a nose ahead of me when we punched it because I really didn’t think he’d go. Anyway, there was a light up ahead, he was in the left lane and I needed to turn left. We went up to the top of my second gear. I pulled about 1/2 car fairly early and he just hung right there for the rest of the time. Being the courteous sportsman I am, I didn’t cut him off but rather hit the brakes and pulled in behind him.

Only stats I could find from this car (car-stats.com) was a C&D test that has this car at 6.3 0-60 with a 1/4 of 14.9
