Picked up my Maxima last night

After a long wait (ordered Dec 3) my car came in yesterday morning and I picked it up last night. 6spd, HLSD, all the other options except leather. Only had 1.6 miles on it. Yes its Blue

After the terrible service I got from the dealer (which he admitted) he still wanted to make sure I gave him an excellent rating on the survey. Told him I'd have to think about it...
He didn't take the bait, didn't offer me any freebies (wheel locks, free oil change, etc). Not even a token discount on parts. Oh, and he wanted to sell me the extended warranty for $1,600! Uhhh, no thanks.

But once I drove it off the lot, all that's behind me...Isn't getting a new car great?

"Picked up my Maxima last night"

did you pull a muscle? What are you, the hulk?

really?? 1.6? Most of the max's I've seen have 4-6 miles after testing/loading. That's watching them come off the truck.

Enjoy!

"1.6 miles"

You are probably looking at the trip odometer...the normal one doesn't report milage in 1/10ths. The trip odometer does, however.

Congrats on a sweet purchase!

when i we got the max in sept 2000, it had 2 miles on the odo, and 1.9 in the trip, it was one of two 2k1's on the lot, its nice knowing no one else test drove the car(other than the dealer preping it)

Really, 1.6

Yep, 1.6 on the trip, and 2 on the Odo...

The one thing the dealer did do right is not drill the front bumper for the license plate, I hate how that looks. Have to cross my fingers on not getting stopped for it.

dont a few of the options require leather?

extended warranty from my dealer would have been $900.

1.6 miles, 2 miles, 3 or 4....be thankful yours didnt have 287 they delivered my car to some place in NC by accident so they had to go to NC and drive it back.

I think just the Nav requires leather, got everything else. Only 50 miles so far, having fun.

i know the feeling, our maxima had 2 miles on it, but my civic had 152miles on it, still smells new, but feels wierd having so many miles on it.

I paid $350 over dealer invoice, and then got the $1000 rebate back.

I just realized that they left the protective plastic on the pedals, just peeled it off. (And before Tim makes another smart *** comment, not bicycle pedals, the gas/brake/clutch... They look really nice (now). Just had all the windows tinted 35%, and have the RSB on order. Mods have begun.
