rewire my 96 corner lamps????

Hey guys-
Is it possible to rewire my corner lamps so that they stay on the "bright mode" instead of going back and forth when my blinker isn't on. I like the color of the light better when they're brighter. Let me know if it's possible, because I know it is on 97+ max's. Hook me up if ya know how. THANKS!!

the way i did it was:

take off your corner lens and look at the harness...if memory serves me right there is a black wire for ground. now, it is as simple as taking the other two wires, splicing them, and crossing them. If you wanna get fancy you can find out which wire actually lights up when you put your corner lights on and and just connect that to the wire that goes to the 22watt part of the bulb, instead of just reversing it. If you have any questions email me as i probabily explained that pretty badly. if you want you can even set that 22watt part of that bulb to blink with your blinkers :P thats fun also!

There is a MUCH simpler way to do this.

Take out the corner bulb. Cut off one of the little nubs in the base of the bulb. Insert the bulb into the socket backwards. Done.

I used nail clippers to cut the nub off.

hahaha, he is true you can either rewire or cut of one of the nubs, which is easier than what i did. i never have done that and i think i would screw up cutting nubs, so I'll stick to rewiring

cuttin' nubs!

So I wound up cuttin' off the nubs. They work just fine, they stay on the brighter mode. It look so much nicer than that puke green color when it was dim. Thanks for the help guys!
