ummm...is your intrepid a R/T or just an intrepid SE with R/T badging? 0-60 in high 7s? I would guess high 8s.

That "R/T" is a sticker i bought and put on...R/T Intrepids were not made that year....some of you may recognize this as rice, just like how many of you stick "gt-r" stickers on your car. Anyhow im sure it is a high 7's car, its a hell of a lot quicker than the new intrepid's (except maybe the real r/t). I know I will get flamed for saying this, but it feels faster than my cousin's 97 automatic GXE (i drove that too). I have beaten may cars with it, and I saw at Microsoft's Carpoint, that the same car as mines with the 3.5 was tested to go 0-60 in 7.8 seconds.

hmm....I have an intrepid. I will run ya with my max. BTW, don't worry about the R/T badging. It's ok. I am somewhat puzzled by the chrysler badging. I put 99ES wheels on my intrepid. I got them for $200 from a guy that bought a 99 intrepid ES and put new 17" wheels on it the day he bought it. They looks sweet on my wife's car.

The Chrysler badging is because my car is a Canadian car....in Canada we have "chrysler" intrepid's opposed to "dodge" intrepids....dunno why...this is one of the reasons why damlierchrysler is struggling, because of poor marketing strategy....also probably because of poor product reliability...that is why i am going to get either a maxima or prelude within the next year.

seriously lets see some picks, and for the records I raced an Intrepid at the illegals last weekend with my car and I destroyed him, I also raced a stratus which sucked as well and a neon which you can all guess blew I guess unless its a viper or a dakota R/T you shouldn't buy it

Well, the tranny feels week...it isnt slipping or anything (not nearly as refined as a max), and the head gasket has been replacced, the the front rotors have been replaced mutltiple times. there has been a tranny leak, and the front suspension has been replaced on both sides....it is not nearly as good as a maxima when looking at reliability, but IMO it is a far better handling car and drives just as smooth.
