Cattman CAI

I just received my Cattman CAI and it came with the MONSTER FLOW Air Filter and its pretty cheap looking ... The filter is made out of this sponge material and it looks as if its going to get clogged real easily. So i'm wondering if anyone has the Cattman CAI with the monster flow filter and if you have any problems with it at all. Or if you have anything good to say about it then tell me that also

Re: Cattman CAI

It's actually a nicer filter than the K&N that Place Racing used to use. Check out the recent posts of people having problems with their MAF due to overoiling their K&N filters. So maybe the Monster filter isn't such a bad thing.

Monster Filter = $90
K&N = ~$40-$50

what about the filtration properties compared to K&N? thats the only reason Im using my old cone with my CAI rather than the Monster since I keep hearing about foam is the worst filtration element

would a stillen pop or a jwt pop fit on the PR CAI? cuz if so then i'm just gonna get rid of the monster blow and put one of those 2 on instead.

Nope, the only thing that fits are cones with a 3" opening. the Pop and SI's cone is attached to a velocity stack that is way bigger than 3 inches.

Re: ah

You have to buy the adapter from Place Racing to use either of those filters.
