intake filter

has anyone put on a performance air filter instead of the box type on an 87 maxima? i dont mean putting a tube into the fender i mean more like just having a mas air flow adapter right to a filter? if you did how did you get it to fit?? maybe move the battery or what?? appreciate it, the rat

GM W-bodies with 24V 3.4L have the MAS in the filter box, if that helps.

As long as you have a maf adapter a regular 3in cone filter will work.

Got Mine!! You can get maf adapter for nissans at any performance store make sure its for 6 cylinder. and any 3" cone filter will work like nismo said.
