Service: Speedo can't be calibrated

so I put some 235/45/17s on... but even though the speedo should only off a bit, thought I'd call and see how much it would be to get it calibrated anyway...

ok so after speaking to one service center that didn't seem to know what speedometer calibration was, I called another one. I was then told that the speedometer cannot be calibrated! I'm kinda finding that hard to believe!

If electronic...

I can see why it can't...

On some of the cable drive type gauges, an 'adapter' gear could be used in some cases.

my friend works at the dealership and he asked their technicians and they said it CANNOT be recalibrated. So, probably it is true
