Does anyone know:

when a 6th gen will come out?
what features will be new/different?

Production is scheduled to begin in January of '03 for the 6th gen Maxima. It will be an '04 model. Probably will go on sale mid to late year in '03. It will be based off of the '02 Altima platform and there are rumors that it will be all-wheel-drive (AWD) or have it as an option. The Altima platform is already built to take on the AWD configuration so it is likely. I personally feel that the rumors of a V8 or rear-wheel-drive are crap.
