FIRM Fabrication intakes???

My friend is thinking of designing a REAL intake for 2k2 3.5 and up motors. it will be a standard intake which will use larger diameter tubing and it will replace the whole intake tract including that plastic MAF adapter thing. he needs to see how much interest there would be so he can go ahead and design & produce it. i don't know about you, but i would like an intake that doesn't use any stock pieces, what would the point be to an intake then? and more options for performance parts for that matter! right? if you're interested, just reply to this.

Re: FIRM Fabrication intakes???

Could you define "REAL" please? Let your friend look at the following links for info on other intakes available to the VQ35DE engine.

Berk Tuning
FrankenCar
Stillen

If these aren't real intakes i don't know what is.

in no way am i demeaning the other manufacturers. i am describing the superiority of this intake. it will be lighter, produce more power and torque, and give the ultimate in throttle response versus other currently available intakes. it also looks good under the hood.

Man that sounded like one BAD infomercial(sp?). These guys come out of nowhere and act like were going to accept/believe such BS. Oh wait, they're used to selling to the Honduuh boys. They don't realize we have to actually want PROOF inorder to buy something.

i am describing the superiority of this intake.
Superiority? It's not even designed yet.

it will be lighter,
Who cares how much it weighs? We drive 3200+lb cars a lb. or two won't matter.

produce more power and torque,
Ugh, it's not even designed NOR tested yet. You know this how?

and give the ultimate in throttle response versus other currently available intakes.
Ok. So you've apparently test each individually on a Maxima. Oh wait, this GODs' creation to Maxima owners, is not even built yet!

it also looks good under the hood.
We are NOT honduuuh boys! Looks do NOT outweigh things such as performance, reliability, and cost.

I wanted to say something snappy so bad but 4DSC had one of the best lines I have seen in awhile.

Hey Guys, I have a friend who can take a Garbage can, and mold an adapter to make it fit in under your hood to your Mass Air Meter ! It will be made of Sprayed on carbon Fiber paint ! When you pop your hood, Your HUUNDUH friends will say ... WOW.. Look at all that spray paint ! He will also throw in a 12 inch TIP for your Exhaust, and a 12 pack of assorted Decals.... If you order now you get a free Aluminum Shopping Cart Wing !!
