I feel ypur pain rims are expensive. Last car i owned(2000 Accord V6 Coupe), dropped 17' Koenig Monsoons, bad choice. They chipped and got scratched ver easily. Thought I'd do better on this car and bought 2002 Altima 3.5 SE wheels. Have only had them on for 10k, starting to chip and scratch. You get what you pay for. In fact, my Altima wheels are more scratched than the SE wheels that I sold with 30K on them, go figure. You might want to look @ 2K2 SE wheels if someone else wants to get rid of theirs.

I see two downsides to getting an OEM rims...225r50R17 tires are hard to fin, thus more expensive...also, those OEM 17"s weight a ton..25 lbs or so. I still struggle a lot, and afraid to make a decision to buy/not to buy. It wont get any worse if I just take my hubcaps off and ppl will think I got some black rims

Could you post a pic of car with the Alty 3.5 wheels. I always imagined that as a hot combo.

yeah, 2002 Alti and Maxima rims look hot. I'd still like to see pics of regular rims,-Tantrums, Toxxins, etc on a sunlit sand car.

I'll try to this weekend. Don't have a digital camera, but a buddy of mine does. It has also been raining here in TX. Will post pics as soon as rain is gone.

I have Konig Tantrums on my Y2K Sunlit Sand SE. I think they look great. The gold center cap and the gold Konig logo on one of the spokes really tie in well with the Sunlit Sand body color. Sorry, no pics.

where did you get gold center cap, and how much is it? I didn't think those are made.

How is this finish called? I like the clean 5 or 7-spoke look, and silver w/machined lip or opal finish, it make the rim look bigger.

Called Gunmetal. Very subtle, gives the car a darker look w/ the tint and black splash guards. Some difficultly in fitting them to the car. Wheel spacers were required to get the rears to fit on properly. They provided a much smoother ride than without. Got wheels at cost - $108 each.

I would take my hubcaps off if I wanted the darker look...but there's too much darkness in our lives tell me bro, how you got 'em at the cost, do you have the hookup?
