For all the people that are good at installing head units (CD players)

I just bought a single din CD player. I was going to install it myself because I have installed all of my own CD players except in my other cars they were single din, not double like our Maximas. My question is, is it possible to just put in the CD player and leave the tape player in there with it? Or would I have to take them both out and buy a kit to make it just the one din? If it is possible to leave the tape player in there, can I move it to the bottom din where the current CD player sits. (by the way I DO NOT have the BOSE system in my 97 GXE) And then put my new CD player on top with the tape player below it? If none of this is possible, how much are the kits to install the CD player? ANy help would be great, THanks and Take Care

Are you trying to make both deck operational? I don't think that's possible.
