feed back pls... about e-bay

use e-bay and buy products... It seems to good to be trueon some of the prices that they give for the parts and accesories...is it safe? worth the trouble of waiting for parts. ? or is it better to get the parts at an actual auto parts store...??

would like some feed back

i've always had tremendous success with ebay. unbeatable prices and haven't gotten taken once... although that day will probably come and i will curse uncontrollably about how much ebay sucks, but for now, it's been nothing but good to me.

ditto. good prices, good experience except for one but that didn't stop me from going on ebay regularly.

If you use your head, you can find good deals on e-bay.

1. Check the seller's feedback. If there's a lot of negative feedback, the guy might be shady.

2. Ask questions about the product you're buying. If anything, just ask a question to make sure the guy's email address is working. But it's the buyer's responsibility to ask any questions about the product before buying.

3. If it looks way too good to be true, it probably is. Refer back to point number 2. (example: that Maxima with the "300zx turbo transplant") Do research.

Basically, just use some common sense and you should be fine.

My brother bought a "Saving Private Ryan" poster. He did some research and found some info on advanced prints and such. He asked the seller what the poster looked like and details about the poster. In the end, he got a poster that sells for $100 normally for $20 shipped from e-bay.

I have bought a lot of things of ebay, and that is my thoughts exactly. Do your homework BEFORE you buy, and you will be fine. Also, try and always pay with a credit card for that little bit of safety in case you run across someone who is shady.

I use ebay regularly to look for things I'm buying. To my surprise (at first) there would always be some listings. Another caveat is to be careful with shipping and handling fees, sometimes they're a means of adding extra profit to what's being sold w/o paying fees. Ask how much for S&H if it's not posted and stay away from sellers with too much real negative feedback. You have to read between the lines on some negative feedback and it's usually fairly obvious whose bad it was.

I bought my 99 Maxima SE on there! My brother in law bought a sweet Montero Sport on ebay, I buy other stuff all the time. My boss bought a Jag on ebay...

So, ya, if you do your homework (and you got a little bit of gambler in ya!) you will be just fine!

ebay is oooooooooo-tay

I bought rims/tires and other stuff. Def. check feedback, and make sure you know exactly what you are getting. The only stupid questions are the ones not asked.

i had a friend who got taken once over a carbon fiber dash kit. took him like 3-4 months to get his money back. other than that no real horror stories, i bought a test pipe from there and that went well.

lol, i have done that quite a few times ...i used to buy lots of stuff on ebay, never tried car parts, but done lots of other stuff...only got taken once, on a $10 PS2 controller, no big deal...and i'm sure the seller has his own problems cuz last i heard, he was gettin investigated by his local fraud dept....anyways, definitely check feedback and you have to be willing to take the gamble...ebay is a great resource for great prices

oh yeah, about the auction sniping...there's quite a few websites out there that run servers that will do the sniping for you, upto 3 seconds from the end of the auction...that helps when you can't be there to snipe
