will straight pipe make max louder

will straight pipe make max louder

I have the apexi dunk exhaust with 2 1/4 piping on my 99 se but its not very loud. if i remove the catalytic converter will it be louder.

before you get flammed shamelessly by everybody else, i'll answer it for you. yes it will be louder, but it is really, really bad for you car. its there for a reason.

Yes it will make your car louder.

Dont expect any gains with a straight pipe unless you are boosted or running nitrous.

i dont know if it's as bad for the car as it is for the environment.. forget about coming even close to passing the inspection

it will sound like a 747 landing
