I was lookin underneath my maxima and i was thinking to myself, wtf ******* designed this exhaust system. also. I'mlookin and.. well I see a catback, then this muffler looking thing. then I see my exhaust pipes bend in a million directions. so i have som questions. wtf is the cylindrical device after the cat and before the muffler. ANother question. Can I have the exhaust end before the tire and come out on the side like in the fast and the furious. thus eliminated the retarded turns in the exhaust before the muffler. i'm no genious but in think the stupid turns constains the flow of ****.


ALso. ever see those old 50's cars where when someon floored it fire came out of the exhaust. I heard they put sprark plugs at the end of exhaust and it burned the exsess gas. If this possible or safe for our jap mobiles?

you can do that custom setup as long as you have the money.

the flames I believe, is from running the car over rich so the exhaust still has unburned fuel in it which ignites from the hot exhaust..........or buy a afterburner super bright LED muffler tip for $40

 

yeap - thas the resonator - if u get a catback it will get rid of it - lol - afterburner ---- its illegal to have fire coming outta yor exhaust - my friend attempted to have it done by a mechanic on his honduh - but mechanic refused

 

Also, by removing the stock resonator, your exhaust will be quite louder as well..

 

You can do anything as long as you have money. With the flames? lets not get pulled over for stupid stuff. BUt it is possible to do that.

 

Yeah a cat-back system will eliminate all of those twist and turns only the ones that are needed to get to the back will be left and you'll have a few extra hp to boot.

 

He is talking about the exhaust tips that glow. They are called afterburners. What you are talking about it tottaly different and can be setup with a spark plug.
