What kind of wax do you guys use?

I washed and waxed, claybarred and gloss enhanced with Zano this week. Car hasnt looked that good since i got it. Now its time to do the interior. The whole process took about 5 hours, but man was it worth it.

Anybody else ever use Zano? Its expensive but man does it do wonders.

For polishing, I use Pinnacle's Paitwork Cleansing Lotion,
When I want a nice durable shine (with luster that I've never seen duplicated by a Zaino finish) I use Blitz One Grand. For more depth and that "deep water" look, I'll follow it up with a coat of Pinnacle Paste Glaz about 2-3 days later. They make my car look better than new, without much work (the Pinnacle Paste Glaz takes about 15 minutes to do the whole car).
FWIW, I don't have any problems with Carnauba being less durable than the polymer waxes. My combo lasted from November thru Feb without any problems.
I wash (by hand only, never taken this car to a wash) once per week.

I use Meguire's Gold Class. I think that's the name. Has the shiny black car on the front of the box and bottle. Good stuff.

Wax application

Do any you use a buffer? I've heard a few different opinions on this.. I want the time saving advantage, but without a concentric circle effect all over the place. If you know of a good buffer at a reasonable price, please post. Thanks!

Same stuff I am using but I think I might try out the Zano when this runs out. I have heard good things about it.

I've had great results with P21S. I've used meguires (gold class) in the past but that stuff doesn't last too long. P21S had equal shine but lasted about 3 months (better than meguire's 3 weeks). P21S also was easier to buff out.

I meant the actual application process. P21s doesn't require the wax to be dry before you buff out with a towel. You apply a thin coat then just wait a few minutes then remove it. Most waxes you let dry then buff out. I'd highly recommend P21s although it is pretty expensive ($24 for 6 oz).

I used Zano for the first time about 3 months ago. Did two coats, the shine was amazing. Whats even better is that three months later the car still shines like it was just waxed and it beads water like crazy still. I'm sold on the Zano.

hey sorry to bother you with such a stupid question but what do you mean by applying a thin coat? do u put the solution on a towel and rub on the car? or do u just put the solution on the car and then rub it against the car with a towel? i know it sounds stupid sorry but please be nice and respond haha thanx

It's actually a paste wax in a container and comes with an applicator. All you do is rub the applicator on the wax then rub the car with the applicator. You don't have to smear the car, just a thin layer of wax will do. With P21S, don't let it dry. After a few minutes, you will begin to see it slowly change color but it will still be wet. Just take a terry cloth towel and remove the wax. you will need to buff it out (wax on, wax off

I think it is better to go in horizontal motions if you have a dark colored car. My car is gold so I don't have a problems with circles. In fact, I just did a complete wax job on my car. I used a clay bar to rub off the particles then used 3M hand glaze (a polish) to shine up the car real good. Then I did a complete wax job and it looks great
