I prepared the Sprints for install today...They're going in on Saturday...
Hey guys,
I went to radio shack and bought 3 packs of the wire wrap. At first I was just going to wrap a few coils at the top, and a few at the bottom, but I ended up just wrapping the entire spring. My Sprints are ready for install. I'm taking out the GC coilovers and putting the Sprints in on Saturday. Just a quick question though...does the part where the spring is closer together go on the top or the bottom? I was told it goes on the bottom, but the instructions say the opposite, and I think it's supposed to be opposite.
Thanks,
-Nick

Youll get the idea
when you take out the old ones....you cant put em in upside down. Lettering up, if there is any, and which ever end fit perfect on the lower spring perch(the end of the coil will fit in the groove) is the lower end!
The tighter coils go on top for the fronts, and the tighter coils go on the bottom for the backs. The directions say just to put the tighter coils on top but I think that only applies to the front. The backs only seat snugly onto the shocks one way, so either they were to lazy to put them into the directions or its just the AGX.
Thanks guys.
Llfe: I ordered them on Monday from http://www.impactparts.com and they arrived yesterday. I believe they only had a few sets left though.
Supa Lao: I can't do that because right now I'm running Ground Control Coilovers. I don't intend to install the stock SE springs again. I'm going directly to the Sprints.
Thanks,
-Nick

I'm getting rid of the Ground Control Coilovers because I don't like the way they ride. They're too bouncy for me. It's probably because they are down so low though. Anyways, I've decided that I really don't need the adjustability and I'd rather just have regular lowering springs.
I'm looking to get $350 shipped for the GCs. NmexMAX, e-mail me if you're interested. nrb1225@yahoo.com.
