What do you think of ALUMINIUM WINGs ?
I think they look horrible. Every car i see them on i say that is so ugly. Everyone i've ever talked to who has one says yeah i have that big ugly thing, so i'm somewhat confused as to why people get them. I think it's so people say look at the guy trying to get attention. They're often referred to as a rice mod. So, that is my opinion on them. But, if you want one and think it looks good, screw what everyone else thinks and do whatever you want because it is your car and money.

i just got the apr performance dtm style touring wing, which is aluminum, put on my silver 98. i've had the pedestals painted silver as well as the end flaps of the wing, so the only actual remaining aluminum piece is the wing itself. i like the wing a lot. granted, before i had the other parts paint, i looked a lot more ricey. now, it still does look somewhat ricey, but it's still a lot cleaner and with my car being silver, the aluminum doesn't really stand out at all like it does on some others. i've also got tezzas, but again, i have a silver car, so they blend a lot better on mine than most. i like the look. sorry for all of you who think it's all rice
i'll have the pics in my sig as soon as i get around today sometime to installing my scanner again. so then you can tell me i look ricey and have evidence

Aluminum wings are a little "out of context" for the Maxima, in my humble opinion. To each his own, though. I do like Buffalo Wings. Add some bleu cheese dressing, hot sauce, and an eye-watering icey-cold beer or two to wash'em down. That'll work...
If you have 21" chrome wheels, a steer horn hood ornament, low-rider hydraulics, a $9,999.99 paint job, fringe on your custom upholstery, a 4,000w stereo system, and a 12" exhaust tip, go ahead. Your Maxima is all about "out of context" at this point anyway. Rice on!

NO! Dont do it. Seen three or four down here in Orlando, FL. They have all looked horrible. First of all, they stand too high off of the back of the car. Then... They totally and extremely clash with the sleek styling of the Maxima.
This car is sporty enough and even more stylish if you simply add the SARONA body kit to it.
You got a Maxima baby. What you certainly DONT have is a Civic or an Accord. Erase the thought.

don't do it, the only cars that should have those wings are cars like F1 cars. They have the spoilers to create the necessary downforce to handle racing at speeds around 200mph. If your maxima can do 200mph, please let us know what you have in it.
