So you can run higher wattage bulbs. If you run higher wattage bulbs in the stock harness, you'll fry it.

Also wannabe HID's . Some of these guys claim that with this harness, your bulbs will be as bright as HID's..... NOT TRUE !

I had hyperwhites and my harnesses went to liquid ****. It was like a bubbling puss on the bulb. I had to buy new ones for my AE. Cost about $26. PIAA makes the only bulbs that won't mess you harness up.

everyone jumps to conclusions that higher wattage bulbs fried out the harnesses. That is not 100% true half the time. My brother is a EE and he does this for a living.

Be careful running this harness, you might be prone to put a nice very high watt bulb and end up melting not the harness but the headlight assembly and/or the socket.

Thanks for the responses & info.....so what should I look at to see if the bulb is frying my harness-- the bulb wire or socket?
