Just replaced my old cattman ypipe

I had this ypipe for about 2 years or so I reckon. Anyway, it had been leaking at the flex section for some time and since I found a good deal on a used cattman I decided to replace it. Now the leaking flex and dented pipe you will see are no reflection on cattman products. My car needs new motor mounts no doubt. I've got 215 thousand miles so that's expected. What I didn't expect was for the jet hot coating to have baked off the pipe. Now I've smoked my share of 4th gens but I didn't think I was generating more heat than the jet hot coating would take but I guess so. Anyway here is the link to the pics of the old pipe I took off.

look in the maxima folder of course.

Hmm all that Jet-Hot is probably embedded on Ebay's Cranmaxberry hood

How was the flex INSIDE the pipe? Was it all crushed inside, making the diameter of the pipe real small?

I also see you got one of the infamous Cattman "skidplate" VE Y-pipes. I have one too

The inside of the flex looks to be in tact for the most part. I'll have to shine my flashlight in there and look good. So you got that skidplate thing happening too huh?! I thought it was just me.

Yeah, Kevin's M3 is nice but I don't like the red interior that much. Those SSR GT3's are real nice especially in 19.
