I was under the impression that only the Sherwood or USA Spec changer would plug in directly. Also, are the 98 and 99 BOSE sytems identical?

 

its a different bus. Maybe if you could lay hands on a European spec changer, it *might* work. But no north american unit uses that bus like the bose. My OEM is clarion (as is the bose head unit, bose only make the paper cones I think ) and is model CV737. good luck trying to find info on that model number :/
