Wow...Mecca is actually starting to look for stuff by himself for a change....He's finding his own info!

Could this mean world peace, an end to hunger?
Maximas and Hondas and Mustangs living in harmony!?!?

Or maybe it's just the seventh sign of the Apocolypse....

Only time will tell..........

How can Consumer Guide rate against the fuel economy and rear seat comfort of G4 Maxima?? For this kind of performance, average 24mph for auto (at least that's what I get) is way better than most cars in the same league. I don't sit in the rear seat but the leg-room in the rear looks pretty good.. and the rear seat look comfy and luxurious on my SE with leather... Love in the eyes of beholder I guess..

I wish I got 24mpg! Driving all city, I get like 15mpg, and when I drive highway I get around 23-24mpg. Overall one tank of mixed driving tends to yield 19-20mpg.

When I have my cruise set to a little over 70, I swear it looks like I can get 500 miles to a full tank! I never drive that far but assuming the gauge is somewhat linear (we all know it isn't)

My in-city sux, I probably get 15-20mpg

yup, doing my own research....man....i use plus now cause prices are going up but it seems like my gas lasted longer when i had it on super...maybe cause it's a higher octane? i don't know....

I'm definitely going for ACT clutch...would go for JWT but everyone says so much about ACT, i'm staying with them....

I'm new here, and don't actually own a Maxima. What I have is a 99 Infiniti I30t. I thought I would add my .02 about the gas mileage, and what grade to use. I use Premium, but according to my owner's manual I can use 85 octane, as I live in Utah.
