INJEN CAIs now available for 4th Gen Maximas?
INJEN CAIs now available for 4th Gen Maximas?
I was just scrolling through Nopi when I saw it for my '96. Sorry I can't make a link (the server I'm typing at right now doesn't let me go to Nopi), but maybe somebody else can. It's under "Air Intakes" I believe, definitely for a 1996 Maixma so I wouldn't see why not the others. It was expensive through, $250+. I checked Injen's website and they didn't have anything on it.
Maybe a new product? Does anyone want to call Nopi and confirm it?

I went to Hot Import Nights 4-13 in Seattle and talked to the people at the Injen booth. The guy told me that it would be available in about a month or so. They were selling all of their intakes at 40-50% off during the show and I think they wanted like $160 or so for it.

If this is for real, then great. But what if it turns out to be just a big rumor like the AEM thing from a few months back?
It might be more expensive but hell, any new aftermarket support for our cars is a good thing.

Well, I would think that is just a generic CAI picture as Nopi is probably not going to host 1,000,000 pictures for each product they have. As for the price, yes it is extremely high, but maybe it will come down with time, or maybe it is actually worth the extra mula.

I think it might fit...
it's late, but, it looks like the pipe would go from the intake,
down under the battery (with stock plastic intake gone) and poke its head by the fog lights?
hope there's no rain in the future!!!
my $0.02

i think Injen intakes are decent quality. i havent had any fitment probs on them and nothing bad to report. Their piping is aluminum juss like AEM. i like it cause its light and feels nice. Place Racing intakes been around for awhile and its proven but it always felt a bit cheap to me cause of the heavier metal piping. I mean the difference is less then 1/2 pound, but still....

Oh well... maybe in 2 weeks Erik will get a new intake and tell all of us how he likes it.
BTW, Sexima Injen products have a VERY reputable name - all of their products are dyno proven, and they represent much more that just Honda. People respect them more than many other companies.

They need to give some of what they're smoking to me!
I thought that was a Y-pipe for MegaMax
