I've been hearing good things about the Unichips ECU mod on the superhonda.com and was wondering if anyone decided to give it a shot. I'd like to know the gains on the Maxima before I commit to purchasing. I'll contact tehm about more info, but I was wondering if anyone tried them out yet. Any feedback would be great.

well i cant speak for everyone but they were tuning my friend's supercharged Max and unplugged the vaccum line to the FMU then the motor blew. They also wont admit guilt cause theys aid only 3 cylinders went bad and not all 6. I would not recommend them to anyone. You would think paying 1g or more they would know what their doing and have great customer service...oh well

but hey if the Honda guys say its good stuff dont listen too much to my negative advice.

 

Wow, I didn't know it cost a grand. I don't know if the faulty programming is due to the supercharging, but they say they specialize in forced induction, NA, and engines of all cylinders. I guess that's two strikes against them for me then. I'd hate to order abroad and have problems. At least with domestic issues, you can go bang on their door and sort things out. Looks like I'll pass.
