Hey, i was wondering what year 300zx filter? Turbo or NA. When you guys change your fuel filter, do u take out your fuel pump fuse and let the fuel run out in the fuel line? I heard it was really bad to let you engine run out of gas? Is this method safe or is there a better one. Thanx. JsL

According to the FSM the way you described is the correct way. The prefered way would be to hook the car up to a consult and have it shut down the fuel pump, but in the absence of one, pulling the fuse is the best way to go.

The 300zx goes back to 1984...lol...im thinking its the 1990 to 1996 generation. Do you need to Mod n e thing to install the 300zx filter instead of the maxima one? It fits but just a little bigger right? Sorry so many questions, don't want to buy the wrong thing
Thanx.

(several different years will fit, but this will prevent the parts guy from looking at you funny, like you don't really know what the h-e-l-l you actually need).
