2002 300M V 95 Maxima

I just rented a 2002 300M and I raced my brother who was driving my 95 Maxima auto with 130,000 miles on it. The only mods on the Maxima is a Jim Wolf pop charger. So, we both punch it from a stand still at the light. For a second we were even but by approx.25 mph the Maxima started pulling away! The Max.just kept pulling and by 60 he the Max. was 2 car lengths ahead of the 300M. I was very proud of my Maxima! Even with 130,000 on the Max. it still pulled hard and kept pulling. By the way I think 300m's are over rated. I've read that 0-60 times for 300m's are 7.6-8.1. So, overall I am very happy that my Max. smoked that Chrysler!

If someone put a gun to my head, a 300M is the first american sedan I would drive, not counting Cadillac or Lincoln sedans. The new 300Ms that come with 18s, dual exhaust, HIDs and ground effects from the factory are pretty sweet for an american front drive sedan. Still slower than a maxima though... even with all that extra power.
