I have a '94 GXE with Iebach springs. Problem is, ever since I swapped my springs, my rear suspension makes poping acd crackling sounds. Almost like the rear is moving in the strut mounts. Do you have to use some kit or change the struts? I also have my 1.75 drop intrax if anybody wants to buy them.

well the clunking is the spring leaving the perch when the wheel is extended. sone wire ties should fix that problem.
also check the upper strut locknut and make sure that's not loose.
good luck
Dan

could be seevral things..
did you get the spring seated correctly? if not, they tend to make noise.
could be a blown strut,
could be brake parts making noise,
could be broken sway bar mounts..

The guys who did mine screwed mine up. What happened is that they didn't tighten up the top nuts all the way becuase the strut cylinder would spin when tightening. I finally had to take both wheels off and use a pair of channel locks to hold the cylinders in place (a piece of foam on each end of the locks so not to scratch the cylinder) and then tighten the nuts. Problem solved.
