OK Traveling down to Tyler/Longview Texas from Omaha, NE on (or near) U.S. 69 it rained MOST of the way. On the Will Rogers Turnpike (got I love that place) I saw not one, but two very new Camaro ss or Z-28's chasing down some poor soul. I guess you need those to keep up with the 75mph speed limit, but I was goin about 85 +mph. My radar saved my *** at least 10 times the trip down there. I love that Will Rogers turnpike, but it's loaded with cops and so is McAlester, Oklahoma. I got pulled over by a cop in Mcalester, but he just told me to "keep my speed down". Other than this, my trip was pretty fun. Oh yeah and I have that plate number of the maxima I saw a best buy a few weeks ago because I saw it this afternoon at Besy Buy (again) the license is (i think) DAJ - 823 or something close to that.

yup, you gotta watch mcalester and everything south of there.. especially on 69 or 35..
I think will rogers Tpike is I-35, right? forget now.. oh well.

that tag # doesn't ring a bell.. the "D" is nothing local around here.. everything in the tulsa area all start with T, I, M, W, C...

if it makes ya feel better I almost had a heart attack today.. I was running with a new SVT contour about 110-115mph on a 4 lane highway.. run into a small town somewbere between Overland Park KS and Joplin MO, so we both slowed down.. as soon as I hit 60, I look up and there's a cop in a Mustang 5.0 sitting at a stop sign waiting to pull onto the highway! I drive by and pretend not to look at him, while staring him down through my shades... he's shaking his finger at me, and pulls out right behind me..

he stayed behind me for about 10 min, then he flashed his headlights (not blinky blinky lights, just high beams). I was like ****!!! so I pulled over and he blew by me then slowed to the speed limit and me and the contour followed him for about 10 miles.. then he pulled off and motioned us both by.. as soon as we went by, he pulled behind us again and followed for another 20-30 miles at the speed limit

weird stuff.. thought he was gonna get me for quite a while.. time for a radar detector!!

 

i hate cops ...i got 4 tickets in one shot for failure to signal,stop sign,seatbelt....my friend got 9 at once the cop said he would had 15 but he ran outta tickets ...cops got nuttin better to do

 

i hate cops too. i used to have a black cadillac with 5% tint. man i got pulled over for nothing all the time. about a month ago a cop road my tail all the way across town and i dont mean on a straight through street I mean through residential crap and turns. they just like to scrare you. oh and he did pull me over. no ticket though.

 

both of you were breaking the law when you got pulled over, correct? (both of you should answer yes here. 5% tint is illegal no matter where you live)
Then don't whine about bad cops. they were doing their jobs. If you screw up, be willing to pay the consequnces. Period.
Yeah, I hate getting tickets too, but it's my own fault. If I didn't speed, I wouldn't get pulled over. then the cops wouldn't bother me.

i had 5% on the back windows and none on the front which is legal here. and cops really did pull me over fo no reason. once i got pulled over for "looking suspicious in the school parking lot" which all i did was walk to my boat i mean car and drive away, got pulled over a block away from school for that reason. and the time he followed me across town i did have expired tags, but still he didnt have to tail me across town.
