ok i was editing my sig and when i was writing my model i started thinking is my car really a gle - i have heard 95 gles have sunroofs and leather but my car doesnt have a sunroof or leather - but my title says its a gle - does anyone know what kind of max i have?

sounds like you have a gxe......or it could be a rebuild

 

Dont the GLE's have auto climate control? So if you dont have a digital read-out of what your interior climate control is set too, I think you have a GXE or SE. although some SE's have auto climate. ?

 

I think you can get every option available on a GLE on a SE. Easiest way to tell (that I can think of)...

If your car is completely loaded, with no fog light or spoiler, you've got a GLE. If your car doesn't have very many options (no leather, sunroof, auto climate control, basically if it's not loaded) AND doesn't have fogs/spoiler then it's a GXE. And if it has a fogs/spoiler you've got a SE.

Oh, and no GLE is a 5-speed unless an auto -> 5spd conversion was done.

 

i just went out and checked the metal plate with my vin num and everything like the faqs section said- and it turns out my car is a gxe not a gle like the title said- thanks for your help
