Would cattman 4th gen coilovers fit a 5th gen? Neep help!

Hey guy's I am thinking about buying a set of used cattman coilovers, the only thing is they are off of a 99 Max. I was wondering if anyone here knows what I would need to make them fit onto my 5th gen, or if it's even feasable? I know they are very simaler bit IIRC I heard they are a little different.
I know Brian Catt's would know this so I am going to email him in a little bit, I don't know how long it will take to get a response though . I don't want to miss out on these so please help me out! Thank you

Turbomax, If your read this help me out!

4th gen rear strut hats are larger than the 5th gen's... that's why Cattman was having so many fitment problems. You'll need to mill down stuff.

There are two different rear mounts, one for the 4th gen and one for the 5th. I have them as well.

I'm sure he will but it will cost you about 400 bones, also it could take a few weeks for him to reply he's usally busy. Also do you know that apperently the gen3's are coming out? At least thats what I hear.

Damn forget it if it's $400 more! That would make buying them used useless I heard about the Gen 3's coming out soon too. Hmm..

What? Last time I talked to him, he was thinking about getting out of the coilover business. Just not enough sales to justify the R&D.

I hope your right, but he sounded pretty sure last time we talked.

It looks like I am going to have to keep my current setup for now(not that it is bad). The rear mounts are going to make the whole thing to expensive to justify

Hey ... couple points to think about ...

I was considering the used set for about $1000 as well .. but ...

1. I e-mailed Cattman and about 1.5 weeks later a response was received ... the warranty is never transferrable on his coilovers ... so even if you had the original receipt ... no warranty!

2. Gen III will be coming out this summer ... this was in response to his response which came about another week later.

3. JIC is a much more reputable manufacturer ... I think it would probably be worth the wait.

4. Do the write-up on the MOMO ebrake install

That's damn right, because his products just simply suck A**..now I have seen couple exhaust manufacturs that do Y-Pipes, and Cat-back systems for maximas, now let's talk about getting him out of business...

a side note, JIC will be having Titanium, SS(all the way) Cat-back available for 5th gen maximas!!!
